Kalyani Priyadarshan, who made her film debut through the Telugu film 'Hello' is a popular actress in south India. Daughter of veteran director Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, Kalyani became popular among the Malayali audience through films such as 'Varane Aavashyamundu', 'Hridayam' and 'Bro Daddy.' Kalyani's latest release in Malayalam is 'Antony' starring Joju George. Now, a new video of the actress is going viral on social media.

The video shows Kalyani attending the program of handing over the keys to the 50th house built under the 'Ammakkilikkoodu' project. 'Ammakkilikkoodu' is a project started by Anwar Sadath MLA to build houses for widows and destitute mothers and their children. The pictures of the footwear worn by the actress during the program are currently going viral on social media.

Kalyani can be seen wearing sandals of the brand Dior Dway. Fans were quick to find out that this footwear costs approximately Rs 62,500. With this, many people came out criticizing the star for using such expensive footwear while attending a program related to 'Ammakkilikkodu.' Some even commented that a house could be built for poor women using the money spent on the footwear worn by the actress.
