CBSE 10th and 12th board exams to commence from February 15

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the commencement dates for the final examinations of Class 10 and Class 12. Scheduled to start from February 15, the Class 10 board exams will conclude on March 13 while the Class 12 exams will finish on April 2.

Students can access the detailed date sheet for both classes on the official CBSE websites, cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in. A staggering number of over 35 lakh students have registered to appear for the Class 10 and 12 final examinations.

For Class 10, the main subjects' examination dates are as follows: February 21 for Hindi Course - A and Hindi Course - B, February 24 for Malayalam, February 26 for English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature), March 2 for Science, March 7 for Social Science, March 11 for Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic and March 13 for Computer Applications and Information Technology.

In Class 12, the main subjects' examination dates are as follows: February 19 for Hindi Elective and Hindi Core, February 22 for English Core, English Elective and English Elective CBSE (Functional English), February 27 for Chemistry, February 29 for Geography, March 4 for Physics, March 9 for Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, March 14 for Malayalam, Tamil, Arabic etc. March 18 for Economics, March 19 for Biology, March 22 for Political Science, March 23 for Accountancy, March 27 for Business Studies, March 28 for History, April 1 for Sociology and April 2 for Computer Science.
