Kerala to receive heavy rainfall from today; Orange alert in Idukki

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological has warned that Kerala is likely to receive heavy rainfall for the next five days. Following the warning, Orange and Yellow alerts have been issued in various districts. An orange alert has been sounded in Idukki today. The IMD has predicted heavy rain at isolated places. It has been warned that these places will receive 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm of rain in 24 hours.

  • 05-01-2024: Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Ernakulam
  • 06-01-2024: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta
  • 07-01-2024: Idukki, Ernakulam and Palakkad
