Man mercilessly beats up 65-year-old mother, fractures her hand; arrested

PATHANAMTHITTA: A man was arrested for brutally beating up his mother after she refused to cook jackfruit for him. In the incident, Sarojini (65), a native of Ranni, was badly attacked by her son Vijesh (36).

Vijesh was in an inebriated condition when he attacked his mother. Both of Sarojini’s hands suffered fractures. It is reported that her head and waist have been seriously injured from the beating. Sarojini has been shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.

According to police, Vijesh tortured his mother with an Anvil and injured her such badly that her condition still continues to be critical.
