TORONTO: A passenger jumped out of a plane just before take off. The incident happened last day at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada. The passenger jumped from an Air Canada AC Boeing 747 flight bound for Dubai.
After boarding the plane, he initially sat in his seat, but later ran and opened the cabin door of the plane. The man was slightly injured after jumping from a height of 20 feet. Immediately, forces including police and ambulance reached the spot.
As he jumped, other passengers were checked before resuming the journey. Due to this, the flight was delayed for six hours. There were 319 passengers on board. Air Canada responded that the passengers were boarded after following all procedures. The airline said in a statement that it will conduct a detailed investigation into the incident. The police say that the passenger is mentally challenged and was admitted to the hospital and treated.

Meanwhile, a Canadian flight was diverted after a 16-year-old passenger reported attacked family members on January 3. The incident happened on a flight from Toronto to Calgary.
