Makara Pongal: Holiday declared for six districts in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A holiday has been declared for six districts in the state on January 15 on the occasion of Makara Pongal. The holiday has been announced in the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Palakkad, and Wayanad. The holiday is for the districts that share a border with Tamil Nadu.
