NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin fasting from today for the upcoming 11 days ahead of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. He noted on his X page that he would observe a special fast of 11 days. The dedication ceremony will be held on January 22. PM Modi has also shared an audio recording with it.

“There are only 11 days left for the dedication of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. I am blessed to witness this auspicious moment. God has asked me to represent the people of India in the event. Keeping that in mind, I am observing a special fast for 11 days from today. I am short of words to express my emotions at this point.” PM Modi posted on X.
According to the Hindu faith, before the idol consecration, those who perform it must follow certain rituals. Despite his busy schedule and responsibilities, PM Modi is determined to follow these rituals. For the upcoming 11 days, The Indian Prime Minister will indulge in daily prayers and will follow a simple diet.
