There is no doubt about whom MT was referring to, one is sitting in Thiruvananthapuram and the other is in New Delhi: Shashi Tharoor 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Shashi Tharoor MP said that there is no doubt as to whom MT Vasudevan Nair's criticism was aimed at. He added that one of the MT intenders was sitting in Thiruvananthapuram and the other in New Delhi. Shashi Tharoor stated that BR Ambedkar once said that devotion in politics is dangerous and MT also said the same thing only.

"It is meaningless for people to worship a political leader like God. Writers have the right to speak on every topic. They write about what they see in our society. They can write about it if they have an opinion. If they feel like repeating what they said in the past, they would have seen its continued importance.", Shashi Tharoor said.

Discussions and controversies were caused by MT's speech at the inauguration of the Kerala Literature Festival held in Kozhikode last day, with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on the stage as the chief guest. MT had said on the stage that freedom is not a bounty thrown by the ones in power and the situation everywhere is that power can be hegemonic or totalitarian. He had also said that the doctrine of power as an opportunity to serve the people has been buried long ago. After this, many people come out with responses on the subject.
