"She gets drunk everyday and...": Shakeela's adopted daughter responds

CHENNAI: Two days ago, actress Shakeela came forward with a complaint that her adopted daughter Sheetal attacked her. Sheetal is her brother's daughter. An argument broke out between the two at their house in United India Colony in Kodambakkam in Chennai on Saturday evening. Amid this, Sheetal took a tray and hit Shakeela on the head, Shakeela alleged.

The complaint also says that the lawyer who tried to solve the problem was also attacked. Sheetal has now come up with an explanation regarding the incident. Sheetal said that Shakeela used to drink liquor every day and speak badly and beat her when she was drunk.

Sheetal says that Shakeela had initially threatened to lodge a false complaint. After this, the police suggested that the problem should be resolved through dialogue and apology. This was agreed upon by Sheetal. She said that Shakeela filed a complaint again after this following which Sheetal also filed a complaint.
