Saddest thing in my life was asking my wife to convert religion, says Shone George

KOCHI: Shone George, the son of PC George, said that making his wife convert her religion was the saddest thing in his life. Speaking to a media outlet, he said that he had not understood the seriousness of the matter back then.

"Let me confess one more thing. My father-in-law had forced my wife. Likewise, many others forced her to convert to Christianity. I did not realise the seriousness of the matter back then. I just wanted to get married to her because of my love towards her. Other than that, I did not think about the consequences of the matter. Later, I realized that the biggest mistake in the world is forced conversion. She loved me. She likes Mother Mary and Jesus Christ. She regularly goes to Church. Today, one of my greatest regrets in my life is making her convert to Christianity," Shone said.

Meanwhile, several social media users have come up commenting below the interview of Shone George. Many of them are asking Shone George to ask his wife to convert back to Hinduism.

'Then you can convert your wife back to Hindu...problem solved,' one user commented. 'Convert your wife to Hinduism and bring her back to Sanātana Dharma,' another person wrote.
