Anusree seeks blessings of Attukal Amma, says has visited temple, seen pongala, but..

Actress Anushree inaugurated the cultural programmes organized as part of Attukal Pongala festival. She revealed that she had danced for the first time at the festival after entering the film industry.

‘I am one who has heard from a long time how big a ritual is the pongala at the Attukal temple. I have never visited the temple or participated in the programmes many times. I have come, prayed and seen the pongala. So far, I haven’t offered the pongala yet. However, I grew up seeing and hearing how big the ritual is. Being that person, I take the opportunity to inaugurate the cultural programmes of the festival here as Amma's greatest blessing and I am very happy about it,’ the actress said.
