The girl had sent a WhatsApp message on February 6 that she would proceed with the complaint. He clarified that he can’t believe that the student who showed such confidence would take such an extreme step.

A former student had revealed yesterday that the karate master identified as Siddique Ali had continuously abused her during karate classes. She also said that the teacher used to touch her body saying that it was part of the training.

He abuses children from the age of eight. She said that when she could not tolerate his abuse, she discontinued her classes and lodged a complaint against him. However, she had to withdraw the complaint following threats from him.

The body of the plus one student, who went missing from her home on Monday evening, was found 100 meters away in the Chaliyar. The body did not have any clothes when found. A top and a shawl were later found during the search conducted by the divers.

Locals said that on the day of the incident, two strangers were seen near the place from where the body was found. Neighbors said that when some went near them, they fled without showing their face. The police have identified these youths. Investigators believe that they have no connection with the death.
