Brothers get drunk, one shoots other to death in Kasargod after heated argument

KASARGOD: A man has been taken into custody for shooting his brother to death in Kuttikol. The dead is Ashokan (45) of Noonjanganam in Kuttikol. The Bedakam police has taken his elder brother Balakrishnan into custody.

The two brothers got drunk together last night and entered into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Balakrishnan attacked his brother with a stone. Balakrishnan left the place, soon came with a country gun and shot his brother below his knee. However, Ashokan died after bleeding profusely.

It has been hinted that Balakrishnan attacked him with the gun belonging to one from a hunting group. An investigation is going on. The body of Ashokan is presently in Kasargod General Hospital. The body will be handed over to his relatives after postmortem.
