Chargesheet filed making K Sudhakaran co-accused in antiques fraud case

KOCHI: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has been arraigned in the antiques fraud case involving Monson Mavunkal. A chargesheet was filed making him co-accused. He has been charged with conspiracy.

Apart from Sudhakaran, Monson Mavunkal and Ebin Abraham are in the list of accused of the crime branch. The crime branch found that the complainants paid Rs 25 lakh to Monson Mavunkal and out of that Rs 10 lakh was handed over to Sudhakaran. Sudhakaran was summoned to the crime branch office in Kalamassery and questioned.

Sudhakaran claimed that he has no role in the case. However, the crime branch rejected this and proceeded with the investigation. The chargesheet has been filed in the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court.
