Bhagya Suresh, daughter of actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi, tied the knot in January 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the function held in Guruvayur temple. Many actors including Mammootty and Mohanlal attended the function in Guruvayur. Grand receptions were hosted in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi and many had attended the function.
The newlyweds arrived in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan car worth Rs 13 crore for the reception hosted in Kochi. The pictures and video of the car had gone viral on social media. Soon after that there were speculations that the car was gifted to the couple by Suresh Gopi. The actor who is in Thrissur for election campaign, has revealed the truth about that car.
Suresh Gopi said the Rolls Royce was sent by Rajesh, nephew of Kalyan Group’s owner T S Pattabhiraman. The actor clarified that he did not buy it and he does not have the money to purchase it.
'Neither me nor my daughter wished for it. Swamy's uncle's nephew Rajesh, sent the Rolls Royce Cullinan from Thrissur, for Bhagya to reach the reception venue instead of the Toyota Welfare. The locals interpreted it and said that it was gifted by me. I don't have the money to buy it for them. Came to Thrissur in that car from Guruvayur. Dropped the couple in that car at the reception venue. From there the new Cullinan was sent by Bhima's owner Govindan Sir. The vehicle was not registered then and everyone confirmed that it was a gift from me. The price is Rs 13 crores and it will not happen in my life,’ he said.
