Prime Minister dedicates Thalassery-Mahe bypass to nation

KANNUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the six-lane Thalassery-Mahe Bypass from Thalassery to Mahe. The Prime Minister inaugurated the bypass through video conferencing. With this, the first six-lane road in Malabar has become a reality.

Public Works Minister Mohammed Riyas and Speaker AN Shamseer attended the inauguration ceremony in person. The stage was arranged under the bridge of the bypass. More than a thousand people came to be a part of the inauguration ceremony. Various cultural programs were also held on the stage in connection with the inauguration of the bypass.

After the inauguration, Minister Mohammed Riyas, Speaker AN Shamseer and others travelled on the six-lane road in a double-decker bus. BJP workers had travelled through the bypass even before the inauguration.
