'Would have thrown him out of Kaliakkavilai border'; Suresh Kumar's response to Jeyamohan's acerbic comments on 'Manjummel Boys'

Tamil-Malayalam writer and screenwriter Jeyamohan's caustic remark against the superhit Malayalam film ‘Manjummel Boys’ is currently the potboiler in the cinema milieu. Now producer G Suresh Kumar has come up with a response on the matter.

“Jeyamohan’s opinion on the movie is his own and Sangh should bear the brunt of it. Jeyamohan, who worked on only a few Malayalam movies have no real understanding of mollywood and he doesn’t have the right to castigate the industry in such a demeaning way.

Would he be ready to blame the same on Tamil movies for their picturization of drinking and other deeds? If that happens, Jeyamohan will be dragged by Tamil audiences and will be thrown out of the Kaliakkavilai border” Suresh Kumar said.

Jeyamohan in his latest blog harshly criticized ‘Manjummel Boys’ and called the crew members of the movie ‘wayward drunkards’ and blamed the general dalliance of Keralites with alcohol and the new age cinemas' romanticisation of such ‘illicit acts’ as the cause for the depleting standards in cinema.
