Youth abducted from Kochi, car-borne group behind act

ALUVA: A youth was abducted from the Aluva city. The youth was abducted by a car borne group in between the busy KSRTC bus stand and railway station Sunday morning at 7.30 am.

The group, who stopped the car on the roadside for half an hour forcibly kidnapped the youth while he was coming out of the hotel after eating. After being informed by the auto drivers, the police reached the spot and conducted an investigation, but it is not clear who has been abducted. The investigation is in progress.

The group arrived in an Innova car. Inspections are now being conducted focusing on the CCTV installed in the city. A similar incident had happened in the city yesterday. The kidnapped person was later found abandoned in Alappuzha. The abduction has taken place again while the investigation in this regard was in progress.
