Middle-aged man injured in wild boar attack dies during treatment

KOLLAM: A middle-aged man who was under treatment after being attacked by a wild boar succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. Mukkunnam native Manoj (47), died this morning while undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

The accident happened three days ago when a wild boar crashed into Manoj’s scooter when he was travelling between Mukkunnam and Kallutheri. The bike overturned and Manoj crashed into the road suffering serious injuries. He was then admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College where he breathed his last. Manoj a carpenter by profession was abroad for a long time. It was only some years before that he returned to Kerala.
