MOSCOW: The death toll in the terrorist attack during the concert in a mall in Russia has exceeded 110, with 145 people reported injured. Police have arrested 11 individuals, including four directly involved in the attack. The Russian security agency concluded that the attackers had ties to Ukraine.

Following the attack, the perpetrators reportedly intended to cross the Russian-Ukraine border, although Ukraine denied any involvement. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. Russian state media reported that President Vladimir Putin thanked the doctors, expressing confidence that all injured individuals would recover.

Leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, condemned the attack, with India expressing solidarity with the Russian government and people. Gunmen opened fire at a rock concert in a northern Moscow suburb, specifically at Crocus City Hall, located 20 kilometers from the Kremlin. Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants, dressed as soldiers, entered the building, opened fire, and threw explosive grenades or bombs. The death toll is expected to rise, marking the deadliest attack in Russia since the Beslan school siege in

2004.
