There is one person who is eagerly waiting more than anyone else for Benyamin's story 'Goat Days', which has burned the minds of readers just like a desert, to reach the silver screens. It is none other than Najeeb, who is the real protagonist of the story. For Najeeb, nicknamed Shukur, who lives in Tharayil house, south of the Alappuzha Arattupuzha Pathisseril Junction, it's not just a story, it's his life. Najeeb too has been waiting for a long time to see a glimpse of the life he cried out in the desert and made his readers cry, in the theatres. Najeeb is also happy that the movie will be released today.

Aadujeevitham is being brought to the silver screens by famous director Blessy with Prithiraj as the lead. The movie Aadujeevitham is the result of many years of preparation. It is certain that this film will be a milestone in the film career of Prithviraj and Aadujeevitham. Amala Paul is playing the lead role. AR Rahman is the music director.

Benyamin's story 'Goat Days' traces Najeeb's austere life in the desert. Readers might think that Najeeb, the hero, would have never crossed the sea again after what he went through. However, the rest of the story is that the unbearable hardships of life brought Najeeb back to the land of deserts. Najeeb continued to live abroad for two decades. Najeeb ended his long expatriate life, leaving behind the dark memories the desert gave him.

Najeeb is still doing manual labour to make ends meet. He is hoping that his life will turn around and his misery will end when the movie reaches theatres. Najeeb says that while his story of expatriate life 'Aadujeevitham', in which he spent more than two years in Saudi Arabia, is still haunting him, his second phase of two decades of expatriate life in Bahrain gave him good memories.

It is from there that Benyamin wrote Najeeb's life story. After the story, Najeeb became a symbol of the hundreds of unfortunates who were drawn into a burning expatriate life. The phrase 'Aadujeevitham' became familiar to Malayalees through the life of Najeeb, written by Benyamin. Najeeb also grieves for the many thousands in the desert who are waiting for rescuers while his life story is making people cry through the book and the movie. Najeeb became a household name in the expatriate world through Aadujeevitham.

Najeeb is still amazed that he has returned from a life that should have ended in some sand dune in Saudi Arabia. Najeeb says from experience that no matter how big the crisis is, we should not lose hope and God's invisible hands will help us. There is no day that Najeeb does not recall the man from Sudan who gave him the opportunity to escape from the desert and the Arab who took him to the rescue spot in a luxury vehicle despite him looking like a scary figure. 'They will have a place in my prayers till death. Even though I know it won't happen, I always wish to see them in person and thank them,' Najeeb says with grief.

Najeeb said goodbye to his life abroad not because life's hardships were over, but because of unavoidable reasons. His son Safir is in Oman. His daughter Safina is married. Najeeb's wife Safiyat is with him in his sorrows and joys. Najeeb's decision is to spend the rest of his life with his family. Najeeb is eagerly waiting to see how Prithiraj will unfold his life in Blessy's Aadujeevatam. Najeeb, known as Shukur, is only freed from Aadujeevitham but his life of misery is far from over.
