NEW DELHI: CBI has started an investigation against estranged AAP leader and former minister Satyendar Kumar Jain. The investigation is based on the complaint that Jain took a Rs 10 crore bribe to arrange special service in jail for financial fraud case convict Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

It is believed that Jain received the bribe while occupying office as a minister in Arvind Kejriwal’s government. As of now, Satyendar Kumar Jain is on remand in connection with a money laundering case.

Meanwhile, widespread protests are taking place in Delhi over the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The INDIA alliance has decided to organize a protest rally on Sunday at the Ram Leela Maidan in Delhi. AAP cadres are working day and night to make the rally a show of strength with enough participation. The Aam Aadmi Party is conducting a door-to-door campaign to get the maximum number of people to participate in the protest.

Delhi Minister Gopal Rai told the media that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, NCP leader Sharad Pawar and many other prominent leaders will participate in the rally. Meanwhile, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar also came forward with a response that foreign countries should not interfere in Kejriwal's arrest. Dhankar in a presser held at Delhi told foreign countries to only mind their internal business and not crane neck in other countries' internal issues.
