‘Premalu’ OTT release date out: Naslen - Mamitha Baiju starrer to start streaming soon

Premalu is a much awaited OTT release by the audience. It was earlier announced that the film will be streaming on Disney Hot Star from March 29.

Premalu is a film that can be described as a youth love entertainer. The film received a huge audience response from the theatre. With this, the film reached the 100-crore club very quickly. The film was also released in Telugu on March 8 and received a huge audience response. Hot Star had acquired the OTT rights of the film for a huge amount.

Everyone thought that the film will be released on OTT from March 29, but the streaming dates of the film have been changed, defying expectations. It is said that the OTT date of the film was extended due to the successful run of the film in Telugu and Tamil. Reportedly, many distributors have requested to extend the OTT date. The OTT release date of March 29 has been changed by Hot Star as part of this.

According to the makers, Premalu will hit Disney + Hotstar screens on April 12. Viewers can celebrate their Vishu with Premalu. The film will be available in three languages ​​- Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

Premalu is a film that collected Rs 96 lakh on the first day itself. The film grossed Rs 117 crore at the global box office. Produced by Bhavana Studios, the film earned 57 crores in Kerala. Looking at the collection in Tamil Nadu, the film earned 5 crores and 10 crores from Andhra and Telugu states. The film earned over five crores from Karnataka. The total gross collection of the film from India is 76.6 crores. The film has also earned around Rs 40.55 crore for the overseas collection alone.

Premalu in which Naslen and Mamita Baiju played the lead roles, has Akhila Bhargavan, Shyam Mohan, Sangeet Pratap, Altaf Salim and Meenakshi Ravindran playing other roles. The story and screenplay of the film set in Hyderabad are written by Girish AD and Kiran Josi. The songs of the film are composed by Vishnu Vijay and the lyrics are penned by Suhail Koya.
