One killed, six injured in collision of three vehicles in Perumbavoor

PERUMBAVOOR: One person was killed in accident after three vehicles collided at Pulluvazhi in Ernakulam Perumbavoor. The accident happened early Tuesday morning. The dead is Sadan (53) of Malayattoor. Six persons sustained injuries and the condition of one is serious.

The Innova that came from Muvattupuzha side hit an auto and a car that came from the opposite direction. Sadan was a passenger of the car. He died while undergoing treatment for serious injuries. Three vehicles have been damaged in the impact. The people were taken out after cutting the vehicle open.

The injured identified as Sajeev, Raji Pradeep of Allapra and Rajeev, Mini Shibu of Malayattoor have been admitted at a private hospital in Perumbavoor. They suffered injuries on their stomach and head. The auto driver has been admitted at the Kolencherry Medical College Hospital.

The car which came in the opposite direction from Angamaly was moving towards Kottayam with patients. The Innova Car coming from Muvattupuzha side was on their way to the Nedumbassery Airport.
