Tini Tom made his way to Malayalam cinema through comedy shows, and mimicry. During interviews,Tini doesn't shy away from revealing his experience in film industry. Now in an interview with Kaumudy Movies, the actor spoke about an incident during the shooting of a Mammootty film.

Tiny reveals about the name given to him by screenwriter TA Razak on the location of 'Paleri Manikyam Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Kadha' directed by Ranjith starring Mammootty. Tini Tom usually did body double for Mammootty in movies with double roles. Mammootty also did multiple roles in Paleri Manikyam in which Tini was the body double.

"Director Ranjith is one of my mentors. Mammukka invited me to act in the movie Paleri Manikyam with him. It was not a double but a triple role. There was also a song scene in it. If you look at that scene, there is a person lying down. It was me. Mammookka was right in front of me.

That's when TA Razak gave me a name-body salesman. It was there I asked for a chance to show my face and not just the body. After that I was offered a role in 'Pranchiyettan and The Saint'. Later I got a permanent place in Malayalam cinema. The lessons learned from the mentors in my life are immense.

Ranjiyettan's 'Indian Rupee' was after Pranchiyettan. I got a role alonside Prithviraj in it. I really enjoyed acting with Raju. Because he is an open minded person. I felt it was like my character. So our combination scenes worked out really well," Tini Tom said.
