Kompella Madhavi Latha, a fiery orator known for her no-holds-barred talks, is now an overnight sensation in Hyderabad. Madhavi Latha will contest for BJP against Asaduddin Salahuddin Owaisi, the AIMIM chief, whose family still holds complete sway over the old city of Hyderabad. For 40 years, Owaisi’s family have been winning from this region unrivalled. This is the first time in recent history that Owasisi's grounds look shaken, with both BJP and political analysts expecting a surprise coup by Madhavi Latha in Hyderabad.
