'Who gave Dileep this payment, Urvashi snapped at the production executive'

'Pidakozhi Koovunna Noottandu' is a movie directed by Viji Thampi and produced by actress Urvashi, who also starred in the film. Released in 1994, it featured notable actors such as Manoj K Jayan, Dileep, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalpana, KPAC Lalitha and Janardhanan. This film marked Dileep's early acting career before he rose to stardom.

Viji Thampi reminisces about Dileep's entry into the film: "I had a good relationship with actress Urvashi and her family before joining the project. Urvashi, originally named Kavitha, expressed her interest in producing a film and shared a storyline for consideration. With Sasidharan Arattuvazhi onboard to write the screenplay, we proceeded with 'Pidakozhi Koovunna Noottandu.'"

It was during the making of this film that Urvashi and Manoj K Jayan fell in love, eventually leading to their marriage. Urvashi introduced Dileep to Viji Thampi, citing his talent in mimicry. Dileep had previously appeared in the movie "Sainyam." He remained with the production until its completion.

On the last day of shooting, Dileep approached Viji Thampi with a concern: he had been working for 30 days but had only received 3000 rupees. Upon learning of this, Viji Thampi promptly informed Urvashi, who was unaware of the situation. The production executive was then consulted and Dileep was appropriately compensated, leaving him content with the resolution.
