harsheena-

KOZHIKODE: Harsheena, who suffered from an incident where scissors became lodged in her stomach during a delivery surgery, underwent another operation. A team of doctors at a private hospital in Kozhikode suggested removing the tumor after noticing a lump in the area where the scissors were lodged. Harsheena stated that the surgery would take place on the 11th of the following month.

No more visits to the medical college hospital. At 33 years old, her career took off at Kozhikode Medical College. It was decided to proceed with the surgery at a private hospital, as recommended by the doctors, with the support of the country and the local community.

She lived with the scissors for five years until they were finally removed. Subsequently, there was a months-long struggle to identify the responsible parties. During the police investigation, it was discovered that she became entrapped during the delivery surgery at Kozhikode Medical College. However, the health department has taken no action regarding compensation or justice, according to Harsheena. Meanwhile, the Kundamangalam court will hear the case involving two doctors and two nurses accused in the scissor entanglement incident.
