Pro-CPM organization leaked list of polling officers in attempt to cast bogus votes, alleges Anto Antony

PATHANAMTHITTA: Anto Antony, UDF candidate here, has alleged that a pro-CPM organization leaked the list of polling officials. He told a media that an attempt is being made to cast bogus votes.

"There are very nefarious strategies going on to sabotage the elections. Most of the polling officers appointed here belong to the Left. Their list was leaked to left-wing organizations. This list is being circulated everywhere pointing out that their man is the polling officer at this particular booth, where they can cast bogus votes. This cannot be accepted. Is there a history orders from the Collectorate specifying the polling officers are leaked? Now it has gone out," he alleged.

Anto Antony said that he will meet the collector directly and file a complaint. LDF candidate Thomas Isaac has not yet responded to the allegation.
