Long queue in polling booths; 19.27 percent polling recorded in three hours; more voter turnout in Attingal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the state's Lok Sabha elections continue, 19.27% of voters in Kerala have exercised their voting rights. This is the figure till 10.15 am. Attingal (20.55) constituency recorded the highest polling. The lowest polling was recorded in Ponnani (16.68).

Kerala is witnessing a fierce battle between LDF, UDF and NDA in this year's Lok Sabha elections. There is a long queue of voters in several booths.

Machines malfunctioned in many of the booths. These issues were soon rectified. Voting was delayed in several booths because of this. VVPAT machine also malfunctioned in some places. Because of this, many people, including the elderly, waited in long queues for a long time. The issues were soon resolved by replacing the voting machines.
