Lives of expats will change; new treasure of wealth and employment discovered in Sharjah

SHARJAH: The announcement of the discovery of a new gas reserve will add to the wealth of the UAE. The gas reserve was discovered in Al Hadiba field, located north of the Al Sajaa Industrial area in Sharjah. This was informed by the Sharjah Petroleum Council (SPC), which operates under the Sharjah government.

The Sharjah National Oil Corporation has been drilling wells and conducting tests in the area for the past few months. The gas reserve was discovered in the area after this. The oil corporation has stated that more tests will be conducted in the coming days to check the development potential of the gas reserves. Al Hadiba is the fifth gas field in Sharjah besides Al-Sajaa, Kahif, Mahani and Muayed.

The new gas reserves in Sharjah are paving the way for new job opportunities for many including expatriates. More clarity will be obtained after further inspections in the area.
