Missing since March 31st; Malayali youth found dead in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI: Malayali youth missing in UAE found dead. The man from Thrissur had gone missing in Abu Dhabi on March 31. The one who died is Sheleem (28), son of Salim and Safinath from Orumanayur of Thrissur Chavakkad.

Sheleem's body was found in a building near his residence in Musafa Saeed City. Sheleem had not returned to his residence after work. Sheleem's neighbors then informed his father Salim who was in Ras Al Khaimah. Later a complaint was filed with the police. Sheleem's body was found last day after the police investigation.

Authorities say that the body which was found in an under-construction building is many days old. The body was shifted to Baniyas Mortuary. Sheleem was working as an accountant in Abu Dhabi. The police said that the cause of death is not clear.

Meanwhile, a Malayali expatriate, who had come back home for a holiday four months ago, fell to his death from a building. Zaheer (44), a native of Kozhikode's Ramnatukara, died while working in Kannur. He had been working in Saudi for 19 years. He came home in January. He was due to go back on May 1, but the leave was extended.
