MUMBAI: Rumours are circulating on social media about the potential separation of Indian vice-captain and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya from his wife Natasha Stankovic. Natasha's removal of Hardik's name from her Instagram bio has fueled speculation. She has also changed her name on Instagram to Natasha Stankovic, contributing to the divorce rumors.

Observant social media users have noted the couple's lack of recent shared photos and Natasha's absence during an IPL match, combined with Hardik's failure to post birthday wishes to his wife have added weight to the divorce speculation. New reports suggest that in the event of a separation, Hardik may have to pay Natasha 70 percent of his assets as alimony.

Hardik Pandya and Serbian actress/model Natasha Stankovic tied the knot in 2020. The couple has a son. In February 2023, they renewed their wedding ceremonies, prompted by their original marriage during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, neither Hardik nor Natasha has responded to the breakup rumors as of yet.

In addition to personal challenges, Pandya has faced professional setbacks in his career. Mumbai Indians, languishing at the bottom of the IPL points table, failed to reach the playoffs. Pandya returned to Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans for the 2024 IPL season, where he was unexpectedly appointed captain, replacing Rohit Sharma. This decision irked fans, leading to Pandya being booed during matches and facing heavy criticism. Mumbai Indians managed to win only four out of 14 games in the IPL season.
