Husband forbids from making reels, wife leaves home with daughter

BIHAR: There are very few people who don't use social media in this era. Social media helps to make connections and build friendships with others. An incident involving a husband who told his wife not to make reels is now being discussed on social media.

The incident took place in Bihar's Jamui district. After the husband forbade his wife from making reels, the wife left the house with daughter. The incident was reported under the Garhi police station in Jamui district.

The complaint was filed by Jithendra. Jithendra and Thamanna Parveeni got married in 2017. It was a love marriage. After marriage, Thamanna changed her name to Seema and lived with her husband at his house. Meanwhile, her husband went to Bengaluru in search of a job. Jithendra got a job in a factory there and settled down. However, Thamanna stayed with her mother-in-law.

After Jithendra moved to Bengaluru, Thamanna started using social media excessively and became addicted. She created accounts on Instagram and Facebook and started posting various videos. Gradually, Thamanna's followers increased significantly. Thamanna has over 10,000 followers on Instagram and over 6,000 followers on Facebook. Then Jithendra asked his wife to stop making reels. The two also started fighting over her use of social media. It is reported that the last argument between them was on May 20. Thamanna then left the house saying she was going to the temple and did not return.

Garhi Police Station in-charge Anirudh Shastri said that no complaint has been received about Thamanna being missing. He informed that the police would take action if a written complaint was received. According to the report, Jithendra is trying to find his wife. Jithendra says that his wife left him because of a dispute over social media.
