THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar came forward with some directions to the employees of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). The minister came with a video message on the official Facebook page of KSRTC with the introduction of some suggestions that will help in increasing the income and progress of KSRTC.

‘I have some directions that will help to increase the revenue and progress of KSRTC. As far as KSRTC is concerned, the master is the passengers. This message is for the conductors of SWIFT and KSRTC. Passengers should be treated with courtesy. Should behave well with the women, children and differently-abled people. When a man and a woman travel together, it is not necessary for the conductor to ask about their relationship. Don't ask such questions. Do not come drunk for duty. After 8 pm, the bus should stop at the place where women ask you. If any superior officer takes action against you for that, I will take action against him. Should carry all showing hands. Hearing a lot of bad things about the behaviour of employees of SWIFT. People should be treated with respect."

The minister informed that steps are being taken to disburse salary to the employees on the first day of every month. Ganesh Kumar informed that this will be implemented for sure within a few months. He said the chief minister has given all support in this regard and a meeting over it will be held under the chairmanship of the chief minister soon.
