A video of Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju struggling to get past a frenzied crowd in Chennai is the new big thing on social media. Mamitha was in Chennai for an inauguration ceremony at a VR mall in AnnaNagar when the crowd broke loose. Many were taken aback by crowd numbers that kept on swelling, just to have a glimpse of the actress. While responding to the media, Mamitha said that even the ribbon tied for the inauguration ceremony got destroyed in the ruckus.
The fans of the actress went into wild excitement seeing Mamitha arrive at the mall. The shortage of enough security officials also added to the worries as the crowd cruised ahead towards the actress making things worse. Mamitha was shielded by two other women and was guided to the inauguration spot. Right after the release of the movie ‘Premalu’ in Tamil Nadu, there has been a massive surge in her fan following from the neighbouring state.
“I am really shocked beyond words and very nervous too.” came Mamitha’s response while talking to the media amidst the echoes of ‘Mamitha chant ‘from the crowd stationed outside the shop.
Recently, Mamitha made her debut in Tamil through the movie 'Rebel' with GV Prakash. Mamitha is currently acting in a Tamil film directed by Ramkumar.
