NEW YORK: Team India is preparing for its third group match in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup. Despite defeating Ireland and Pakistan in its first two group matches, the poor form of some players is causing concern for India. One such is the poor performance of all-rounder Shivam Dube. Malayali cricketer Sanju Samson is likely to replace Dube in the playing 11 in the match against the USA.
Although the name of youngster Yashaswi Jaiswal is also being considered, Sanju is said to have an upper hand because of his ability to deal with both spin and fast bowling. Shivam Dube was included in the India squad for the T20 World Cup by overlooking a finisher like Rinku Singh. However, Dube has not been able to bring out his excellence in the IPL in the World Cup so far.
