'No one would have done that in those days, father and Suresh uncle were so close'

Actor Ratheesh's son Padmaraj Ratheesh said that it was Suresh Gopi and producer Suresh Kumar who supported his mother and himself after his father died. Ratheesh had a very close relationship with Suresh Gopi. Padmaraj says that they are still keeping that bond.

"Even though we don't have our parents, they are our parents. They are our godfathers. They are our family. Suresh Gopi uncle, producer Suresh Kumar uncle and their family supported my mother and us after my father passed away. Suresh Gopi uncle, Radhika aunty and children are like family to me. We are like siblings. We still have the relationship father and Suresh Gopi uncle had.

Suresh Gopi uncle told me that on the location of the film 'Rajavinte makan', my father gave his car to Suresh Gopi uncle to drive, which no one would have done in those days. He used to treat Suresh uncle like a younger brother. In fact, they haven't done many films together. But when they were together they had a very close relationship. Suresh Gopi uncle was like a brother to my mother. Radhika aunty and mother were very close. We used to go to Suresh Kumar uncle and Suresh Gopi uncle's house. They were the ones who sustained us after my father passed away. They are our family.

Suresh Gopi uncle has achieved the success he deserved and now he has reached the Lok Sabha and got the position of minister. Good things always take time. More than a politician, he is a good human being. I have never seen such an innocent and sincere person in my life. People of Thrissur have done the best thing by electing him. He is a holy soul. He has an open heart that tells everything.

I am sure that he will fulfill the needs of the people of Kerala. He has now come to this position to fulfill his duties and he will have done what he had to do hundred percent.''- Padmaraj's words.

Padmaraj's new film is DNA, a crime thriller directed by T S Suresh Babu. He is playing the role of a police officer in the movie.
