Actor and scriptwriter Murali Gopy opened up about how he ended up playing an important character in Blessy's film 'Bhramaram' starring Mohanlal. Murali Gopi opened up about this in a post shared on Facebook in connection with the 15th anniversary of the release of the film. He wrote that Blessy approached him for the film while he was working abroad without accepting any offers after his first film.

'After my first foray into cinema in 2004, I exiled myself abroad without accepting any of the offers that came my way. As I was spending days basking in the pleasant sun of my exile, Blessyettan told my close friend Rathish Ambat that he wanted to meet me. I then met Blessyettan at the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram. With all the authority and affection of an elder brother, he talked to me a lot about the need to return to cinema, both as an actor and as a writer,' Murali Gopy wrote.

'He then firmly said that he had me in mind as an important character in 'Bhramaram' and that I would be doing that role. "I had once quit cinema. Should I do it?" I asked him. "Yes," he replied in just one word. When he said that, I saw a pure light of creativity and love in his eyes. I could only say "Ok, I'll do it then" before that light,' he wrote.

'Even today, I bow down before that light in Blessyettan's eyes before acting in each shot and before writing every word,' Murali Gopy added.
