Special Vande Bharat for Kerala from July 1; big relief for Manguluru passengers

MANGALURU: The Railway has decided to run one more special Vande Bharat train through Kerala to answer the burgeoning demand from passengers. The new train will service through the busy Mangaluru-Kochuveli route. The train will leave Kochuveli on the morning of July 1 and reach Mangaluru by night of the same day. There will be eight coaches on the train.

STOPS: Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Shornur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod and Mangaluru.

The journey time is 11 hours and 15 minutes. AC chair car fare from Kochuveli to Mangaluru is Rs 1470. Rs 2970 in executive chair car rate on the same route. Ticket booking has already started through IRCTC.
