NEW DELHI: The Centre has filed an affidavit at the Supreme Court saying it would not be rational to scrap the entire NEET UG examination as there is no proof of any large-scale breach of confidentiality in the examination. The Centre also told the top court that the CBI is investigating the irregularities and scrapping the exam in its entirety would "seriously jeopardise” the lakhs of honest candidates who attempted the question paper in 2024.
The Supreme Court considered many petitions related to NEET examination irregularities.
The Supreme Court will hear the petitions, filed by several students and organizations, related to the NEET examination malpractice on Monday.
