Indian 2's poster misuses national flag; Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation with complaint

KOTTAYAM: Complaint that the national flag was misused in the poster of Kamal Haasan starrer 'Indian 2: Zero Tolerance'. Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation Chairman Eby J Jose has complained to the Chief Minister, DGP and Film Certification Board Regional Officer in this regard.

According to the complaint, the addition of the name of the production companies and Kamal Haasan's picture to the national flag displayed in the posters made for advertising purposes is disrespectful. Years ago, the makers of the film 'Anniyan' had withdrawn the poster when the Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation complained about the misuse of the national flag in the posters. Anniyan is a superhit movie starring Vikram.

Shankar's Indian 2 is scheduled to be released on July 12. The film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions and distributed by Gokulam Gopalan for Sri Gokulam Movies.

The music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematography: Ravi Varman, Editor: Sreekar Prasad, Action - Anbariv, Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, Executive Producer - GKM Tamil Kumaran. Indian 3 will be released six months after the release of Indian 2. Indian 3 has been announced to be released in January.
