'Musical sense alone is not enough Ambane, a little common sense is needed'; Nadirshah extends support to Asif Ali

In the controversy during the trailer launch of 'Manoradhangal', more film stars are supporting actor Asif Ali. This is at a time when there is a huge protest on social media, alleging that music director Pandit Ramesh Narayanan insulted Asif Ali. Manoradhangal is an anthology film based on nine stories by MT Vasudevan Nair.

Actor, director and singer Nadirsha wrote on Facebook that 'musical sense alone is not enough Amban, you need a little common sense'. Actor Mukesh also shared a picture with Asif. 'Such interactions should definitely be avoided in a public forum. It is a bad thing to show the discrimination in the name of art among people,' noted actress and singer Manjuvani Bhagyaratnam on social media that the disgraced person here is not Asif, but Ramesh.

Asif Ali was invited to present the award to Ramesh Narayanan who participated in the trailer launch event. But Ramesh, who received the award from Asif Ali, called director Jayaraj and handed it over. Later Jayaraj gave the award to Ramesh Narayan. The protest started when the video of the incident went viral on social media.
