'Glad that Asif bhai has understood me'; Ramesh Narayan urges netizens to stop cyber attack against him

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Music director Ramesh Narayanan said that he is glad that Asif Ali has understood him. Speaking to the media, he said that he is deeply disturbed by the cyber attack directed against him and his family following the controversy.

"Yesterday, I texted Asif Ali requesting him to call me back. When he called me, I explained the situation to him. I'm glad that he understood my situation. I told him that I would come to Kochi and meet him in person. We ended our conversation by saying that we should talk over a cup of coffee," Ramesh Narayan said.

"It is Asif's greatness that he understood me. I'm facing a heavy cyber attack on social media. Not only me but also my children are experiencing it. This is the first time I'm facing a cyber attack. I would like to request everyone to stop this cyber attack directed against me and my family. I want to put an end to this controversy and maintain a good relationship with Asif. Anyway, I'm happy that Asif bhai has understood me," he added.

Asif Ali's response

'My worries and issues are mine alone. Supporting me should not turn into a hate campaign against someone else. I can understand the pain suffered by Ramesh Narayan. He was in the midst of many problems. He reacted like the way we all react in that one moment. I don’t think anyone will do it deliberately. It may be a reflection of the events that happened on stage at that time. I have no regrets or complaints about what happened. I talked to him on the phone. He got emotional while talking. A person like him need not apologize,' said Asif Ali.
