Close relationship between Dr Deepthi and Shini’s husband? Tried to eliminate her for creating hurdle

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Some crucial information surfaced soon after the arrest of the female doctor identified as Deepthi Mol Jose in connection with the incident of shooting a housewife in West Fort. 37-year-old Deepthi is a pulmonologist in a private hospital in Kollam. Her husband is also a doctor.

Reports said Deepthi had a close relationship with Sujith, the husband of Shini, who was shot at. This relationship broke up recently. Reports said the statement of the accused is that she tried to eliminate Shini when she realized that she was creating a hurdle.

The accused tried to commit the act after days of planning. The air pistol used to shoot her was bought online and she learned to use it from YouTube. Deepthi, who burst into tears soon after her arrest, cooperated in the interrogation after a long time. The doctor's replies were in an angry and sad mood.

Deepthi covering her face reached Shini’s house Sunday morning. She came in a car. She said that she came to deliver the courier from Amazon. After shooting Shini, she left in the car which had a fake number plate.

Shini told the police that she suspects nobody and no one has an enmity towards her. However, the police did not believe it. The police got the crucial information after conducting an investigation focusing on the phone numbers of Shini, her husband, and Deepthi.

The police reached the hospital where Deepthi was working and arrested her yesterday afternoon. It is not been six months since Deepthi was working in the hospital. She is a native of Kottayam.
