NEW DELHI: Air India Express is all set to introduce a new travel route to end the long travel woes of the expatriate Malayalees. The new service will start on the Thiruvananthapuram - Riyadh route.
Air India will operate express service from Thiruvananthapuram to Riyadh and back. The new service will start on September 9. Flight IX 522 departing from Thiruvananthapuram at 5.55 pm will reach Riyadh King Khalid Airport at 10.40 pm. On the return journey, the flight will leave Riyadh at 11.40 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7.30 am the next day. This service will be available every Monday.
Meanwhile, Oman's budget airline Salam Air has announced two more new services to India at a low budget. The new services will connect the Arabian country with megalopolis Mumbai and Bengaluru. There will be four weekly services to Mumbai and two weekly services to Bengaluru. The service to Mumbai will start from September 2. The services to Bengaluru will start from September 6.
