Director Lijo Jose Pellissery said that he firmly believes that the statements and complaints that have come before the Hema Committee should be approached with due seriousness. Lijo also warns the actors' association AMMA that silence will not solve this. Lijo made his response in a Facebook post.

Produce full version of Hema Committee report: High Court

The High Court has asked to produce the complete version of the Hema Committee report in a sealed cover. The High Court order was made in response to the petition filed seeking to register a criminal case based on the report.

The report is to be presented to the court on September 10. The court has also directed the government to file a detailed affidavit regarding filing a case. A division bench comprising the Acting Chief Justice has ordered the report to be submitted in a sealed envelope.
