KOCHI: The Hill Palace police have registered a case against Sophia Paul and James Paul, producers of the blockbuster film 'RDX,' following allegations of fraud by co-producer Anjana Abraham. Despite the film's commercial success, Anjana claims that she has not received the promised dividend from the profits.

Anjana, a native of Tripunithura, invested ₹6 crore in the film and has accused the producers of failing to honor their financial commitments. She has filed a complaint alleging fraud and conspiracy. In response to her complaint, the Tripunithura First Class Magistrate ordered an investigation into the matter last month.

'RDX,' which became one of the highest-grossing films in recent times, was expected to generate significant returns for its investors. The case has now added a legal dimension to the film’s success, raising concerns over financial transparency and the fulfillment of agreements in the film industry.
