NEW DELHI: Vande Bharat Express, which has revolutionized Indian railways, is on its way to export to foreign countries. Countries like Chile, Canada and Malaysia have shown keen interest in importing Vande Bharat trains from India. It is hoped that official measures will be implemented in the future. In that case, the Indian-made Vande Bharat Express will leap on the track in foreign countries as well. There are many reasons why foreign countries are importing Vande Bharat trains. Let's examine what they are.

Better design and lower expenses
Low expense is the main reason attracting foreign countries to Vande Bharat. While trains with similar features manufactured in other countries usually cost between Rs 160 to 180 crore, India manufactures Vande Bharat at a very low cost, with a cost of only Rs 120 to 130 crore for the Vande Bharat made in India.

Another attractive factor is that it takes just 52 seconds to reach a speed of 100 kmph. A bullet train made in Japan takes about 54 seconds to reach this speed. The designs of Vande Bharat trains are superior to the designs of trains manufactured in other foreign countries. Also, Vande Bharat produces noise levels 100 times lower than airplanes and consumes less energy.
