Financial assistance for expats through Norka Roots; Applications open until 30th October

DUBAI: An opportunity for financial assistance has been provided through Norka Roots to improve the activities of expatriate cooperatives working towards the rehabilitation and economic upliftment of expatriate Keralites returning home. One-time financial assistance up to three lakh rupees. Application form is available at Norka-Roots website 'www.norkaroots.org'.

Completed applications along with copies of essential documents such as Governing Body Decision, Project Document, Copy of Latest Audit Report and Provisional Debt List should be made available by post to Chief Executive Officer, NORKA-ROOTS, NORKA Centre, 3rd Floor, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 014 by 30th October 2024.

An amount equal to five times the paid-up share capital of the co-operative societies or a maximum of one lakh rupees whichever is less, the said amount shall be paid as share parity and working capital of two lakh rupees. The group must have at least 50 members at the time of application and must have completed two years after registration.
